- Renewable Energy: Renewable sources accounted for approximately 81.5% of our electricity requirement in FY 2025–26.
- 2.1 MW Captive Wind Power: Our captive wind power installation supports renewable electricity use and helps reduce market-based greenhouse gas emissions.
- GHG Accounting: We measure and monitor greenhouse gas emissions to understand our carbon footprint and identify opportunities for reduction.
- Resource and Waste Management: We focus on efficient material use, metal recovery, waste segregation and responsible waste handling.
Our environmental approach is guided by continuous improvement, with a focus on energy efficiency, renewable energy and reducing the environmental impact of our manufacturing activities.
Social Responsibility
Putting People First
Our employees are central to our manufacturing capabilities and long-term growth. We aim to provide a safe, supportive and inclusive workplace where people can develop their skills, access employee benefits and contribute to the organisation’s progress.
Our key social initiatives include:

Governance and Responsible Business
ESG Accountability from Leadership to the Shop Floor
Effective governance provides the foundation for credible sustainability performance. At PBW Bearings, top management oversees ESG priorities, reviews performance indicators and supports the integration of sustainability into operational decision-making. We aim to translate our commitments into practical actions across departments, manufacturing processes and day-to-day activities.
Our governance approach includes:
- Management Oversight: Top management reviews ESG priorities, targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) to support accountability and continual improvement.
- ESG Policies and Systems: Policies covering environmental management, occupational health and safety, business ethics, human rights, equal opportunity, information security and other relevant areas guide our practices.
- Shop-Floor Implementation: We work to translate policies into practical procedures, employee awareness, operational controls and measurable improvements at the manufacturing level.
- Ethical Business Practices: Our approach emphasises integrity, regulatory compliance, responsible decision-making and anti-bribery and anti-corruption controls.
- Responsible Supply Chain: We promote responsible supplier practices through supplier requirements, sustainability assessments and audits covering relevant environmental, labour, health and safety, and ethical business matters.
- ESG Measurement and Reporting: We monitor relevant performance indicators and strengthen data collection across departments to support transparent and consistent sustainability disclosures.
- Third-Party Assurance: Independent third-party assurance of our sustainability reporting supports greater confidence in the information disclosed.
For us, ESG is not limited to policies or reporting. Our focus is on embedding responsible practices into everyday operations, strengthening accountability and using performance data to guide improvement.
